A New Way to Earn: Make Your Stablecoins Work for You
Earn is a new feature in the Petra Wallet mobile that lets non-US users deposit USDT into an Aries Markets DeFi lending pool with one click to start earning interest and rewards.
It was created to make decentralized finance easier to access for everyone. By supplying USDT, users can potentially receive more on their stablecoins than by holding stablecoins in their wallet or cash in a traditional high-yield savings account. Earn removes barriers by offering a simple, one-click solution for accessing these opportunities directly from your Petra Wallet.
For experienced DeFi users, Earn provides an efficient way to deploy funds. For new users, it offers an intuitive entry point to explore third-party DeFi opportunities with ease.
How to Use Earn on Petra Wallet
1. Obtain USDT
Buy USDT from exchanges like Binance, OKX, or ByBit or use the Swap feature directly in Petra Wallet.
2. Transfer USDT to Your Petra Wallet
Send your USDT to your Petra Wallet by copying your wallet address in the app and initiating a withdrawal or transfer from your exchange.
3. Deposit USDT with Earn
Open the “Earn” tab in your Petra Wallet mobile, select the amount to deposit, and confirm. Don’t see Earn? Make sure your Petra Wallet is up to date.
Once deposited, you’ll start earning interest on your USDT through an Aries Markets lending pool and may receive additional rewards distributed by Aries. Rewards can be claimed directly in Petra and will appear in your APT wallet balance.
Other Things You Need To Know To Get Started
- Ensure your Petra Wallet mobile app is updated to the latest version (1.1.51) on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Android users can access Earn globally (excluding the US). iOS availability is limited to select countries.
